The Challenge

Escape rooms live on group bookings, birthday parties, corporate team-building, and spontaneous weekend fun — all high-intent, ready-to-book traffic. Escape Box was attracting visitors to their site but failing to convert them. The old website was flat, generic, and did nothing to communicate the thrill and excitement of the actual experience inside.

Most crucially, the booking process was clunky. Interested groups were dropping off before completing a reservation, calling instead — or worse, booking with a competitor whose site made it easier.

Our Approach

An escape room website should feel like the beginning of the adventure. We built Escape Box a site that creates atmosphere from the first scroll — dark, theatrical, immersive — and then gets out of the way to let visitors book as fast as possible.

The Results

The redesigned Escape Box site delivered a significant shift in booking behaviour. More visitors converted online, reducing the operational overhead of phone bookings and giving the team cleaner, pre-paid reservations to work from.
