The UAE Ministry of Economy needed a world-class digital platform to serve as the official gateway for trade and investment between the UAE and the African continent. The brief was demanding: the platform had to project governmental authority, communicate complex economic and investment information clearly, and work seamlessly for an international audience spanning 40+ countries.

There was no existing platform to build from. Everything had to be designed from the ground up — architecture, information hierarchy, visual identity extension, and technical execution — all while meeting the elevated standards expected of a government-affiliated property.

We approached this as both a branding and information design challenge. The platform needed to strike a precise balance: authoritative enough for government stakeholders and trade commissioners, yet accessible enough for entrepreneurs and SMEs exploring market entry.
